City Smarts 6-Hour REGENTS REVIEW SESSIONS
At the end of each academic year, students need to take what they learned in the classroom and apply it to the very unique formats of their Regents exams.
With that in mind, we created workshops that are “test-driven” - informed by the format and content that appears frequently on the Regents exams are looking to master.
We are offering another slate of these dynamic, workshops this year for the exams our students admit to being challenged by the most. We are focusing on the 5 Regents exams that our students commit the most amount of hours practicing for: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Living Environment, and Chemistry.
Session 1: ALGEBRA 1 Regents

Students will have access to dozens of previously administered Regents exams and homework assignments that are tailored to the foundations they need to excel.
90 Minutes of Instruction
We believe that 90 minutes is the ideal amount of effective instructional time for high school-aged learners: just the right length to keep your child engaged but not exhausted.
Clinic capped at 8 students
In order to maintain individual instruction time and encourage peer-learning, we have capped our classes at 8 students. While other companies pack their classes with up to 15 students, we feel that smaller classes facilitate a scholarly learning environment.
time management and test day strategies
Not only does City Smarts teach content, but we also devote time to pacing, overcoming test anxiety, and time management.
Diagnostics
Our course will allow students to take full-length exams at home in the weeks leading up to their test date, so we have a realistic sense of what their score potential will be.
