City Smarts partners with schools and non-profits across New York City to provide programs tailored to the needs of each community. From long-standing institutional collaborations to new, high-impact pilot programs, our work spans tutoring, test prep, academic enrichment, and college access.

We provide scholarship-based tutoring to City and Country School, a progressive independent school serving children ages 2–14 in Greenwich Village.

City Smarts leads a high school admissions test prep workshop for the German School Brooklyn community and offers admissions guidance through lectures and individualized consulting.

We provide in-person mock testing solutions and scholarship-based tutoring at Poly Prep, a co-educational independent school with two Brooklyn campuses.

Since 2010, City Smarts has offered test prep solutions to Hannah Senesh, a K–8 Jewish community day school in Carroll Gardens.

We support the Pratt Young Scholars program—a three-year, need-based scholarship initiative for motivated high school students—by providing college admissions consulting and test prep services.

Until 2023, City Smarts provided individual tutoring and class-based services for Upward Bound participants, supporting first-generation and/or low-income students through academic instruction, enrichment, mentoring, and college admissions and financial aid guidance.

Since 2021, we have offered an annual ISEE preparation course to the Nord Anglia community.

Since 2023, City Smarts has been offering an SHSAT course at PS184. In 2024–fifteen of the nineteen participants earned offers to Specialized High Schools. We continue to provide test prep workshops and admissions lectures for the school’s parent community.

In 2025, we developed an SAT course for Northside juniors, with plans to launch an expanded program for the Class of 2026.
