Léman SUMMER SAT EXTENDER COURSE (2026)

Ideal for:

Léman Manhattan students sitting for additional SATs in June, and/or August

Description:

By the end of our in-school SAT clinic, students will have established a powerful foundation for test taking. Now–we invite students to tackle advanced topics in pursuit of an increase on summer tests. Over the course of 5 75-minute lessons and one mock test, students will engage with advanced materials and continue to hone their test taking approach. This class is rigorous enough for students aiming for an elite score, but also serves the needs of students building general test fluency. It culminates in a full-length proctored mock test.

All materials for the course are provided. Students only need a notebook and a graphing calculator ready for each class.

Instructor:

Avery Banks graduated magna cum laude from NYU with a BFA in Drama and a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. She specializes in SAT prep and has been helping students navigate the rigors of that test since 2017. Avery's approach to prep is highly personalized - she works closely with her students, tailoring lessons to meet their specific goals and needs. When she isn't demystifying comma splices and quadratic functions, she's most likely to be found in a rehearsal room or at a DND table.

Please Note: This class will be capped at 10 students.
