Léman Manhattan Test Strategy

Léman juniors just got their PSAT results back. That’s a helpful baseline for how they might score on the SAT this spring, but it’s only half the picture. Colleges accept the SAT and ACT equally, and some students perform better on one or the other. Taking a practice ACT now lets us compare the two and identify which test is the better fit for your student.
City Smarts runs Léman’s on-campus test prep in the spring. To help families start that season with a clear plan, we’re offering two services to Léman juniors and junior parents:
A mock ACT (English, Math, and Reading), proctored at our Financial District classroom on Wednesday, November 11th, or taken at home. Paired with the PSAT, it gives you a side-by-side comparison while both scores are fresh.
A results analysis call to review your student’s PSAT results, plus ACT results if they test with us. We’ll set expectations for spring, share what works when studying, and help you choose a testing strategy.
Just focused on the SAT? You can skip the mock ACT and book a call to review PSAT results and plan for spring.
HOW IT WORKS
Register for the mock ACT below. Choose 10am, 2pm, or at-home, and standard or 1.5x time.
Take the test. In-person students should arrive 15 minutes early at 11 Hanover Sq., Suite 500. At-home students will get login instructions by email.
Book a strategy call at the bottom of this page. Calls are open to all Léman juniors, with or without an ACT.

Registration closes Tuesday, November 10th at 6PM.
Cost: Free for Léman juniors
Length: About 2 hours 15 minutes, or about 3 hours 15 minutes with 1.5x time
Results: Scores are available immediately after the test, with a full PDF report within 10 business days.
Accommodations: Standard or 1.5x time only.
