Over the past ten years, we’ve established one of the leading college essay programs in the country, helping students transform their experiences and values into high impact personal statements and guiding hundreds of students to acceptances highly selective colleges.

We’ve developed our four part College Essay Clinic as a resource for students embarking on the first draft of their Common Application essay. Through peer interviews, structured writing activities, and expert storytelling instruction, students craft personal essays that establish the human connection with admissions officers. This class culminates in a private college counseling session with City Smarts co-owner Brett Moses, a chance for each student and their parent(s) to discuss their narrative with a qualified college counselor.
