HUNTER TEST workshop
City Smarts is offering a small-group workshop for 4-7 students on select Sundays leading up to the Hunter High School Entrance Exam in January of 2019. Pencils, notebooks, flashcards, and workbooks - featuring weekly homework assignments, including practice test sections - will be provided.
Each workshop is from 4:30 to 6PM and covers the three crucial aspects of Hunter preparedness: the test’s content, its unique design, and the important strategies necessary to navigate its time constraints. Reading, Math, and Essay Writing will be discussed during each workshop.
Our Hunter High School Workshop is an overview, not an intensive. Admissions to Hunter is extremely competitive, and even 25 classes would not be enough to cover all the content students may see. Our goal is to make sure that if your child was invited to take the Hunter Entrance Exam, they are familiar with its challenges and its nuances.

90 Minutes of Instruction
We believe that 90 minutes is the ideal amount of effective instructional time for 6th grade learners: just the right length to keep your child engaged but not exhausted.
